What to say first.
Begin with the city and state, then the exact address or safe meeting point. Say whether the call is for a home, apartment, business, vehicle, or another authorized opening. Explain what changed: the key is missing, the key turns but the bolt does not move, the door will not close, the fob stopped responding, or access needs to change.
Calling from a large property?
Add the garage level, lot row, suite, gate, loading entrance, building contact, or nearest visible landmark. A precise entrance is more useful than a mailing address alone.
For a vehicle.
- Year, make, model, and trim if known
- VIN and proof of ownership
- Whether all keys are lost
- Photo of the existing key or fob, if available
- Vehicle battery condition and safe access
For a home or business.
- Photo of the full door and current hardware
- Close-up of the door edge, latch, deadbolt, and strike
- Whether the lock behaves differently when the door is open
- Who can authorize the work
- Number of openings or keys affected
What the call should confirm.
Ask about current coverage, service capability, expected parts, and what a quoted amount includes. Timing and cost can depend on route, parking, property access, time, condition, labor, hardware, vehicle system, and discoveries made on site.
LockReach does not advertise a Cincinnati walk-in storefront. Safe work, mailbox locks, motorcycle keys, and counter-style key duplication are outside the advertised scope.
